Extensis VectorTools 2.0.1 for Macintosh is a collection of nine powerful productivity tools for Macromedia FreeHand 5.5 and higher.

Changes in VectorTools 2.0.1 for FreeHand:
- Fixed a VectorMagicWand incompatibility with FreeHand 7.0.2
- Fixed a VectorFrame incompatibility with FreeHand 7.0.2
- Fixed a problem which was causing FreeHand 7.0's toolbar hot help to stop functioning.
- Fixed a problem in VectorColor and VectorShape which involved the 'Save Preset' dialog; in some situations this dialog could come up off screen.

Installing and registering VectorTools
The following folders and files are installed into your Macromedia FreeHand Xtras folder:
VectorTools™ folder
VectorCaps
VectorColor
VectorFrame

VectorToolbox
VectorTypeStyles
Launch Macromedia FreeHand. During the launch, you will be requested to serialize and register the software. Please enter the serial number located on the back of the manual. If you do not have a serial number, you can choose to run VectorTools in demo mode; demo mode allows full functionality for 30 days.
Please register using one of the built-in electronic registration methods. If you do not have a modem, fax/modem, or printer, you may fill out the registration card in the back of the manual.
Microtek Scanners
Microtek scanners may interfere with the built-in electronic registration process. If you are using a Microtek scanner, please turn it off before attempting to register VectorTools. You may turn the scanner back on once the registration process is complete.
Important VectorTools functionality notes with FreeHand
- Version 5.5 of FreeHand does not support drag and drop to and from the VectorLibrary
- Version 7.0 of FreeHand supports drag and drop to and from the VectorLibrary, but to drag into the VectorLibrary, at least a small portion of the VectorLibrary palette must be outside of the current FreeHand document.
- VectorLibrary does not support dragging to the Finder. Attempting to drag to the Finder may produce erratic results.
